Redesign and rebranding of my own website
I felt like my own website needed a facelift and a new engine.
My old website was build on Joomla's CMS, but when I during a project tried using Wordpress there was no doubt in my mind - my old Joomla days were over.
So when I got the time I startet redesigning my website completely, this time using Wordpress as the CMS.
The biggest speed bump I encountered was probably when creating the "Request a Quote" contact form, but after a bit of tinkering I got it working.
Being a lover of responsive web design I wanted to make sure that my new website worked across all platforms. Using media queries I made sure the site looked great on tablets, but for the smartphones I wanted something more and something special. I wanted a web app.
After some research I decided to give the Sencha Touch Framework a go. Sencha Touch allows you to develop mobile web apps that look and feel like native applications on iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry touch devices.
Though the framework was pretty foreign to me I am happy with the final result.
Overall the website turned out pretty much as I had imagine.

My site as it was before the redesign:
